This tour will take you into the rich cultural, historical and geological history of the island of St Lucia. After you are picked up your journey begins along the West Coast of St Lucia. Along the way you get to enjoy spectacular views of both the pristine landscape and the Caribbean Sea. On arrival in the town of Soufriere your first stop will be at the Diamond Waterfalls and Botanical GardensThere you get to learn about the many tropical birds and plants that adorn this Garden. Also enjoy the spectacular view of the sulfuric waterfall whose waters flow through this garden. From there your tour continues with an estate tour at Morne Coubril Estate. This tour takes you right back into both our colonial and indigenous culture. You will be sure to enjoy!

Your tour resumes  with a drive to the Caribbean's only drive-in Volcano for a tour and visit to the information center. Take a mud-bath if you wish. The sulfuric waters of the Sulphur Springs are renowned for their relaxing and therapeutic properties. To top the day off we make our final stop at the picturesque Marigot Bay. Enjoy the wonderful scenery along with a drink at one of the restaurants located right along the water's edge.

 

Soufriere Scenic Adventure Tour

This tour commences with a pickup from any location of your choice. Our first stop being the city of Castries the capital of St. Lucia. There we visit La Place Carenage where you have access to duty free shopping. Your tour then takes you to the local vendors craft market, where you get the chance to see St Lucian handicraft at its finest.  Directly adjacent is the local food market where you get to see some of our locally grown fruits and veggies. At Morne Fortune, our next stop, you get a first hand look at the turbulent past that shaped St Lucia's current culture and landscape. Get to see the former barracks of British Solders as well as their armory chambers. Lunch will be enjoyed at the 'Pink Plantation Restaurant' or any other as may be decided on by you.

 

The final stop of the day will be Pigeon Island National Landmark. This island is now accessible by a causeway and boasts one of the most preserved insights into the 1700's. These range from forts to barracks and water storage chambers, learn how those structures were built and used, either through a guided or self guided tour. You could also relax and cool off at the white sand beach on the west of the island or enjoy a picnic on the lawn grass to the east of the island; or how about enjoy the view of Martinique and the north of the island from the uppermost point of fort Rodney. Your are driven through St Lucia's Rainforest at "Barre de l'Isle Ridge.' Which is one of the highest point on island. At this height it provides for spectacular views of the central rainforest ridge and atlantic swept east coast. From there we move on to the Fond d'Or Nature Historic Park. It is nestled in the heart of the Mabouya Valley located on St Lucia's east coast. Fond d'Or is steeped in culture and history. It was first inhabited by the Amerindian Indians and later by the Europeans to establish a sugar cane plantation. Get to see Sugar Mills, Cattle Mills, Wind Mill, Steam Mill and various other relics and historical structures from the 17th to 19th Century. Enjoy also the rainforest and the pristine blue waters. 

 

Your tour continues down to the Mandela Point where you get to enjoy the view of Dennery village while enjoying a scrumpteous meal. At this point the tour could continue with a visit to Mamiku Gardens where you could enjoy thousands of tropical species of plants or you could visit the lighthouse point for a breathtaking view of the south of the island.
